Grâce au kit sportif de réalité virtuelle connecté, les amateurs de voyages et d’évasion se retrouvent plongés dans les conditions réelles du lieu souhaité, exactement comme s’ils y étaient. 

Une immersion bluffante, qui permet aussi de concrétiser un rêve un peu fou : se téléporter, quand on le veut, n’importe où dans le monde… 

Alors que les spectres d’une période de Covid-19 restrictive sont désormais envolés, Fit Immersion s’est fixée un nouveau challenge : supprimer les frontières pour emmener ses utilisateurs sur les 5 continents. 

Toujours plus de destinations virtuelles

En pleine croissance, et pour répondre à une forte demande, la start-up s’est entourée de plus de 50 possesseurs de caméras 360° autour du monde. Cette communauté de réalisateurs est désormais prête à filmer des parcours cyclistes, afin de contribuer à créer de nouvelles aventures sportives virtuelles. 

Aux 25 parcours déjà disponibles en France, en Irlande et en Russie, viendront ainsi s’ajouter une dizaine de nouveaux circuits d’ici quelques mois. 

Les premieres destinations déjà filmées vont être publiés prochainement : 

  • tour de ville de Budapest (Hongrie),
  • traversée de Toronto (Canada),
  • et même à Kharkiv et à Tchernihiv  (Ukraine), des endroits ayant subi un conflit armé.

Les suivants sur la liste pourraient être des tournages en Italie, Angleterre, Inde et Taiwan, Sibérie et États-Unis.

Fit Immersion, la start-up spécialiste du cycling immersif

Fondée en 2017, l’entreprise montpellieraine a créé une application d’entraînement sportif dénommée Fit Immersion, basée sur la vidéo 360°. 

Depuis le début de commercialisation en 2020, elle a été très vite adoptée par des miliers de particuliers et par quelques salles de sport depuis le retour à la normale après une période difficile. 

En 2021, l’application s’est retrouvée sur la station spatiale internationale, emportée par un célèbre astronaute français. Les 3 parcours qui ont été sélectionnés étaient Paris, Saint-Pétersbourg et Marseille. 

Aujourd’hui, avec un casque de réalité virtuelle et à l’aide d’un capteur de vitesse, la start-up propose à tous les amateurs de cycling de parcourir le monde depuis leur vélo stationnaire. Tous les utilisateurs peuvent désormais se téléporter sur de nombreux parcours filmés en 360° et profiter d’une immersion totale. 

La technologie Fit Immersion permet une diversité d’utilisation : 

  • sur IOS et Android avec le Kit Mobile 2,
  • sur Oculus avec le Kit Ocula,
  • ou encore avec un casque 100 % autonome avec le Kit Pro 2.

Des solutions plus évoluées pour les professionnels de la remise en forme sont également disponibles. 

À propos de la Dream Team

Fit Immersion a été créé en 2017 par Dimitri Prikhodko. Spécialiste de l’intelligence artificielle, il a travaillé sur la simulation du comportement humain et sur la brique calcul des automates d’analyse de sang. 

Dimitri est également un ancien athlète semi-professionnel, qui s’est classé dans le top 10 des championnats de France de cross-country en junior, et a fait la meilleure performance française sur le 30 minutes piste en cadet. 

Le projet Fit Immersion est né en 2015, lorsque Dimitri découvre la réalité virtuelle. « J’avais du mal à supporter l’entraînement sur vélo d’entraînement qu’on nous imposait à certaines périodes, à cause de blessures et de coupures. Je me suis dit qu’en couplant la réalité virtuelle à l’exercice, on pouvait avoir une expérience beaucoup plus motivante en simulant une sortie en extérieur », explique-t-il. 

Dimitri a commencé à travailler sur le projet Fit Immersion en 2015, en parallèle de son emploi, avant de fonder la start-up en mars 2017. Début 2020, il est rejoint dans l’aventure par Chi-Hong Hoac, qui devient son associé et le directeur marketing de Fit Immersion. Chi-Hong Hoac est un serial entrepreneur qui a déjà créé ou accompagné plus de 10 entreprises, dont plusieurs dans le secteur de la communication. 

Dimitri et Chi-Hong ambitionnent de développer leur solution sur l’ensemble du territoire français et de la lancer au niveau européen.
