Ingolstadt, 4 octobre 2022 – Douze ans après la première apparition de l’Audi R8 GT, Audi Sport GmbH lance une nouvelle version de cette supercar exclusive : l’Audi R8 Coupé V10 GT RWD. La puissance du moteur V10 atmosphérique de 5,2 litres est portée à 620 ch (Consommation combinée en l/100km : 15,0 – 15,0 (WLTP) ; émission combinées de CO2 en g/km : 340 – 341 (WLTP), ce qui en fait le moteur à propulsion arrière la plus puissant de l’histoire de la marque. Une nouvelle transmission à double embrayage 7 rapports pour des changements de vitesse plus rapides et le nouveau mode de conduite Torque Rear permettent au conducteur de choisir son propre niveau d’assistance ESC. Cela permet un survirage contrôlé et précis. Le couple arrière à sept niveaux peut être réglé via la commande sur le volant. La nouvelle Audi R8 GT est limitée à 333 unités dans le monde dont 26 en France. Des caractéristiques extérieures et intérieures spécifiques rendent hommage à la première génération de l’Audi R8 GT. Il s’agit, par exemple, de la numérotation individuelle, de jantes spéciales en alliage léger et d’un habitacle vétu de noir et de rouge. Son prix débute à 245 000 euros.

L’Audi R8 GT tire sa révérence au moteur V10

Par rapport à l’Audi R8 V10 performance RWD de 570 ch, qui constitue la base de la nouvelle Audi R8 GT, Audi Sport GmbH augmente les performances afin de la mettre au même niveau que le modèle quattro. Nouveau mode de conduite Torque Rear

Pour la première fois, Audi Sport GmbH, qui assemble la nouvelle Audi R8 GT en grande partie à la main à Böllinger Höfe, propose le mode Torque Rear. Le patinage est contrôlé sur l’essieu arrière par le système antipatinage (ASR). Il fait partie de l’ESC. Sept courbes caractéristiques sont enregistrées dans l’ASR, offrant différents niveaux d’assistance. Le niveau 1 permet un faible patinage, tandis que le niveau 7 permet un patinage important. Le niveau de couple arrière souhaité peut être réglé via les commandes sur le volant. Cette fonction permet également une adaptation différente en fonction de l’évolution des compétences de conduite et des conditions routières. En fonction de cette évolution et en tenant compte des informations fournies par les capteurs de vitesse des roues, l’angle de braquage, la position de la pédale d’accélérateur et le rapport sélectionné, l’unité de commande du moteur mesure la puissance sur l’essieu arrière.

Par rapport à l’Audi R8 Coupé V10 performance RWD, diverses mesures ont permis de réduire le poids d’environ 20 kilogrammes pour atteindre un total de 1570 kilogrammes (sans conducteur). Les jantes exclusives 20 pouces à 10 rayons, qui peuvent être associées aux pneus hautes performances Michelin Sport Cup 2 (en option), conçus pour une utilisation sur route et sur circuit, jouent un rôle clé dans la réduction du poids. La suspension hélicoïdale de l’Audi R8 GT, encore plus sportive, est disponible en option. Elle permet un réglage individuel de la position de l’assiette et des niveaux de compression et de rebond de l’Audi R8 GT. À la livraison, les clients R8 GT reçoivent des instructions de réglages et les outils nécessaires.

Un design à la hauteur de son statut

Pour différencier la nouvelle Audi R8 V10 GT RWD de ses semblables, cette série spéciale est équipée de pièces complémentaires exclusives. Le premier élément distinctif est le lettrage noir « R8 GT » à l’arrière. Tous les autres emblèmes sont de couleur noire. Avec le kit aéro en carbone noir brillant, qui a été développé en soufflerie, la stabilité est grandement améliorée sur la route, et assure donc des vitesses de passage en courbe plus rapides. Dans le style de sa prédécesseurre, la nouvelle Audi R8 GT est proposée en gris Suzuka mat (en option). En alternative, les couleurs rouge tango métallisé et Gris Daytona métallisé sont disponibles de série. À l’intérieur, Audi Sport GmbH poursuit son hommage à la première Audi R8 GT de 2010. L’intérieur est conçu dans une combinaison de noir et de rouge. Cela inclut des ceintures rouges – uniquement disponibles dans l’Audi R8 GT d’il y a 12 ans.
