Les 2 soeurs terminent du Marathon des Sables dans le Top 20 !

 Les deux sœurs Bonnin, qui se lançaient pour la première fois sur cette étape mythique de 250 km dans le désert, viennent de terminer l’épreuve dans le Top 20 femmes.

Elodie et Victoria, originaires de Seine et Marne, étaient juste venues chercher la communion, le dépassement de soi, l’aventure humaine, les paysages.. Elles y ont trouvé bien plus !

Avec des températures caniculaires dépassant régulièrement les 50°C, un des parcours les plus difficiles de cette épreuve, un sac de 8kg sur le dos comportant toutes leurs affaires pour les 6 étapes, elles sont allées au bout d’elles-mêmes sans jamais défaillir. Et pourtant, comme tous les participants, elles ont souffert (physiquement et moralement), notamment sur l’étape de 90 km. A noté qu’il y a eu plus de 30% d’abandon…

Les sœurs ont dû gérer en permanence leur fatigue, l’eau, la chaleur, leur alimentation, pour surmonter cette épreuve colossale. 

Du début à la fin, Elodie et Victoria sont restées ensemble pour se soutenir, mais surtout vivre et partager cette aventure qui marquera à jamais leur vie…

Elles terminent à la 17eme place.
